Our mission
Heroes at Home golf event supports Children’s Mercy Hospital, aiding families in Jasper and Newton Counties. Last year, 2,771 kids from these areas received care. We aim to continue providing financial help to local families.

Our story and purpose
We were eagerly anticipating the arrival of our first grandchild. I had the privilege of accompanying our daughter to her 20-week ultrasound. Our emotions quickly shifted from joy to fear upon learning about abnormalities in her unborn son. Despite consulting multiple local and Springfield-based doctors, our daughter was eventually referred to Children’s Mercy. Following her initial visit there, our daughter regained hope and confidence thanks to the physicians. Though she had been leaning on her faith, the reassurance from Children’s Mercy allowed her to breathe a bit easier. We were incredibly fortunate that her son was born without any issues—everything was perfect. However, we recognize that not every family is as fortunate, which is why we feel compelled to assist as many families as possible.
